Hidden Valley Cabins offers a range of educational eco-tours including day tours from the resort and all-inclusive tours with meals, accommodation and transfers from Townsville. Explore the local area with a personal guide, adding to the Australian bush experience and cover the unique animals, ecosystems and landscape within the Hidden Valley area.

Our guide Kurt is experienced and passionate about guiding and educating students from all over the world.

Day tours that include pick up and return trips from Townsville (tend to last 6-10hrs). We also have 2-4 night Itineraries where we visit such locations like Wallaman Falls, Running River Gorge and Paluma - World Heritage Rainforest

Tours generally last 1-2hrs and are commence in the late afternoon. $30 PP

Please note - these are wild animals and we cannot predict if we will see any, this is also a weather dependent tour.

Best times of the year to view platypus are August - October (breeding season), December- March (wet season) is the least likely chance to spot them due high and heavy rain fall.
