We are located one and half hours northwest of Townsville, near running river on the western slope of the Paluma range in Queensland, Australia. The area is abundant with varying species of birds, butterflies, wallabies, Lace Monitors, PLATYPUS and nocturnal animals such as gliders and much more.
Hidden Valley Cabins runs daily tours from the resort, including a 2 hour Platypus Tour, 1.5 hour Nocturnal Night Walk and a 1/2 day Hiking Tour exploring the mighty Running River Gorge. The location for the German Television program “Survivor”. After a day exploring, join your hosts Ian and Bonnie for a home cooked meal to remember.
