Does Hidden Valley have a restaurant?
Yes we do, the restaurant offers breakfasts, lunch and dinner options. Breakfast is at 8am (orders in by the night before when possible) lunch from 12:00-2:00 (orders need to be in by 10am) and dinner 7:00pm (orders in by 4:30pm) - we ask you do let us know if you are dining with us as we do also run tours. We are also off grid and being prepared as possible helps us tremendously with preparation.
Are you Pet Friendly?
We are to an extent, pets are allowed to stay but must be outside and leashed at all times.
Does Hidden Valley Cabins hold retreats?
Hidden Valley cabins is the perfect spot for retreats whether it be a company/person hire the property for their own to hold or it be one of our own that we run. If interested in seeing what’s happening in this department at the Cabin please visit our retreats page.
Does Hidden Valley do workers accommodation?
Yes we do, we can do breakfast, lunch and dinner packages please contact us for more information
Does Hidden Valley Cabins do large function / group bookings?

Does Hidden Valley offer pick up and drop off from Townsville?
We don’t generally offer this for single person parties; we can try and offer this if it marries up with a town visit / stock up but we do tend to only offer this option for large groups which are planned well in advance.
How far is the closest grocery store / service station?
We recommend filling up your car before you head to Hidden Valley cabins as the closest store would be Townsville or Ingham which are over an hour away. Hidden Valley Cabins have very limited basic supplies. We do have ice to purchase if staying for a few days and need to keep food and beverages cool.
What is available with the camp kitchen?
The outdoor camp kitchen, has a bbq, 4 burner gas stove, sink with washing up liquid and tea towels, plates, cutlery, pots and pans. It is a public place of cooking so we ask after each use to clean up after yourself for the next person to use. We also have resident scrub turkeys so any food left out they will take that as an invitation to help themselves. Please also check our amenities page.
How far is Hidden Valley from Townsville?
Hidden Valley Cabins is 1hr and 45 mins drive from Townsville.
What is the road like to Hidden Valley Cabins?
The road is sealed (if coming from Paluma way) up until the last 6kms that is dirt grated road. Most vehicles have no trouble gaining access to the cabins.
What wildlife do you see at Hidden Valley Cabins?
We do, often daily see wallabies, gliders, possums and the occasional snake at the cabins. It is important to know that even though the cabins are quite established that we are well truly in the heart of bush land and there is always the chance to have an encounter with wildlife, so best to keep cabin doors shut at all times and wear appropriate footwear when going for walks.
